An alumna of Orange Crescent School, Iman Siddiqi is currently a 2L at the UCLA School of Law pursuing specializations in Public Interest Law & Policy and Business Law. She graduated from UC Irvine in 2018 with degrees in Political Science and Global Middle East Studies.
Iman is passionate about writing and social justice. At UCLA Law, she is the co-EIC of the Journal of Islamic & Near Eastern Law. In college, she served as news editor of UCI’s newspaper and established a scholarship and mentorship program for refugee and asylum seeker students, which has since awarded five students with scholarships to attend colleges across the state. In high school, she wrote articles for the Orange County Register and published a children’s book, Haya: The Loyal Student, in which the young protagonist learns that she can become a successful scientist while remaining a devout Muslimah. In her free time, Iman enjoys traveling with her family and learning languages.
